If you are a new truck owner, congratulations! You are about to experience the joy that having a truck brings. With fall coming up, you may be wondering if there are some upgrades you should be considering, and the answer is yes. Fall is a great time of the year to get out and do some off-roading, and you will need some new accessories, such as mud tires for trucks.

1. Off-Road Tires

The tires your truck originally has may look perfectly fine. But once you begin taking your vehicle off road, you will discover they do not deliver performance-wise. Mickey thompson all terrain tires are a good option, as they will be able to maintain traction on all types of conditions, such as loose dirt, mud, and sand. They are also good in the event you run into slush or ice.

2. Suspension for any Terrain

If you plan on spending a lot of time off road, you will learn quickly how nice having an upgraded suspension system is. The suspension that is originally on trucks is perfect for regular road and street use, but it does not cut it for taking your truck out in the wild.

4. Vehicle Armor

More than likely, you are proud of your truck and want it to look its best for as long as possible. Going off road can do a number on the exterior of your vehicle, so a smart upgrade is body protection. Not only does armor prevent scratches and dents, but it also prevents damage to the components of the underbelly, such as the engine. Some components to consider include skid plates and brush guards.

5. Bed cover
